E2 is the next-generation flagship LiDAR built on RoboSense's fully solid-state digital LiDAR E Platform. Powered by RoboSense's proprietary, mass-producible Peacock SPAD-SoC and a 2D VCSEL chip, E2 adopts a fully solid-state scanning architecture that combines exceptional precision, an ultra-wide FOV, compact form factor, and outstanding robustness. It delivers a new level of perception performance for robotic lawn mowers, humanoid robots, quadrupeds, drones, and diverse data acquisition devices for spatial intelligence.
Compared with the previous generation, E2 delivers a wider FOV with smaller optical windows while providing up to 3× higher precision and point rates of up to 1.5 million pts/s. The enhanced perception performance enables robots to detect object distance, size, and contour with high precision, supporting obstacle avoidance, navigation, and spatial data acquisition across home, industrial, inspection, and other demanding environments.

With a wide FOV of up to 180°×135°, E2 delivers an FOV 2.25× wider than the previous generation. Equipped with just one E2, robots can capture obstacles directly ahead and along both sides within their surroundings, quickly acquiring comprehensive spatial and pose information to perform data collection, autonomous navigation, and motion decision-making with greater efficiency. In addition, E2 achieves a maximum detection range of up to 35 m at 10% reflectivity, enabling robots to detect environmental information in advance.

RoboSense is the first company in the industry to achieve mass production of SPAD-SoCs for fully solid-state LiDAR. Based on the next-generation proprietary “Peacock” SPAD-SoC and 2D VCSEL chip, E2 replaces traditional mechanical scanning with an ultra-simplified electronic scanning architecture, delivering generational breakthroughs in FOV, precision, and point rate, and pushing the boundaries of LiDAR performance. Meanwhile, both chips have passed the AEC-Q102 automotive-grade qualification, ensuring exceptional reliability and production maturity from the chip level.
Built on a fully solid-state scanning architecture, E2 delivers high robustness and ultra-low power consumption. E2 has passed over 60 reliability tests, withstanding vibration impacts of up to 50G acceleration and operating reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Designed to handle challenging terrains such as uneven roads and slopes, E2 is resilient against collisions, shocks, and daily wear and tear. In addition, E2 consumes ≤5 W under typical operating conditions, enabling robots to operate reliably for extended periods.
